Art news and info
Hola, art babies!
Well, it's been a while since I've sent out one of my art missives. Miss Kerry and I have settled in to the Texas Hill Country and are loving it here. We have a vegetable garden, lots of deer to feed, and I'm painting more than ever. Life is good!
But wait, there's more! We just returned from a two week trip to Nothern New Mexico. We hit Indian Market, Canyon Road and the galleries of Taos. While enjoying all the art on offer, I was also looking for a good match for a gallery to represent my work. And I found one! After visiting with Daphne Thomas of Thomas Gallery Taos, we came to an agreement for her to show my paintings in Taos! She accepted all the paintings I had with me (9 of them) and several giclee prints.
The gallery is at 113 Paseo del Pueblo Norte, about a half block south of the Taos Inn. So, whenever you're in the Taos area, stop by and see my work and say hello to Daphne.
Meanwhile, back in the Hill Country, the Wimberley Valley Art League is having an open studio tour on October 19th and 20th and I will be participating. If you're in the Wimberley area that weekend, stop by, have a glass of wine, and see my new work. The studio is at 1 Ridgewood Circle, Wimberley, Texas. just follow the signs...
Ok, that's it for now. Stay cool and stay artfull!
